Training and policy

What you get

Tailored presentations can be developed to train teams in respect of Code of Conduct, Child Protection, WHS, conflict resolution and other legal obligations. You will be offered a fixed fee, all inclusive quote that includes preparation, tailoring the presentation to reflect your policies and procedures as well as the law that applies, slides or paper for use by staff, and the presentation including being available for additional questions.

What our process looks like:

 It is critical that any training appropriately considers the context, the people, and the legal aspects. This includes considering your objectives, policies and procedures, and the people you want to train. Ordinarily, the process includes:
  •  Initial briefing  including us  receiving from you of relevant policies and procedures, and a briefing from you (via phone, zoom or in person) as to the context, needs of the business, preferred method of presentation (in person or online) and likely audience;
  • Preparation of training; and
  • Presentation of the training, including provision of slides for staff.

What you pay

Training for your team is bespoke - anyone can provide training about what the child safe standards say, but that isn't particularly helpful if it doesn't cover what you expect your team to do! Training needs to be structured to comply with your policies and procedures and our fee offering will depend on the requirements of your documents, the format of the training, the length of the training and the needs of the staff being trained. We have an initial meeting fixed fee offering of $250 including brief consideration of your relevant policies and procedures and briefing meeting with you. During this meeting, we will hear from you about your needs, make suggestions about options and things you need to consider and then provide you with a fixed fee proposal.
