We put in the time before the mediation to speak with both parties, understand the issues, assess suitability for mediation, assess the needs of both parties, and plan how these needs will be accommodated in the process.  Simply? We do the work.
  • We provide information to both parties ahead of time about preparing for the mediation to give you the best possible option of success. We help set parties up to do their homework!
  • We think turning up to a mediation without knowing the mediator ahead of time is just stressful and unnecessary - so we try to meet both parties before hand to take one more "unknown" away before the mediation.  ​

What you get

  1. A fixed fee proposal so you know exactly what you’ll have to pay and when;
  2. Phone or Zoom meeting with each party to explain the process and seek to understand the issues for discussion at the mediation, assess suitability for mediation, answer questions and explain how to prepare for mediation;
  3. A fair process tailored to the needs of the parties conducted by an experienced mediator (AMDRAS and FDRP accredited) that meets best practice, provides procedural fairness, and lets you move forward;
  4. Our custom developed mediation preparation checklist; 
  5. Preparation by the mediator including reading materials - up to 1/2 lever arch folder/250 pages for a half day, and 1 lever arch folder/500 pages for a full day;
  6. Issuing a brief report (for example, to an employer who paid for the mediation) where appropriate and agreed by both parties;
  7. Trauma informed, professional mediation approaches that are tailored to your individual needs; and
  8. Ability to pay via cash, direct deposit or credit card (credit card attracts additional card fee). 

What you pay

Mediations that are not Family Dispute Resolution have different considerations. For example, workplace mediations between staff might need to be structured to comply with your Enterprise Agreement, or employment contracts, your policies and procedures, and the like.
